Summary:

In this role, you will collaborate with cross-functional teams to contribute to the development and execution of product strategies, ensuring alignment with market needs and business goals. Responsibilities include supporting product roadmaps, conducting market research, and assisting in the coordination of product-related activities to enhance overall product success.
you will Conduct stakeholder interviews to understand customer needs and business strategies and inform solution ideas, product strategy, prioritization, development, and enhancement of multiple inter-connected product suites. You will partner with leadership and application development to develop and execute product vision. You will manage the business planning and product life cycle for Vizient solutions and products that connect to member source systems such as electronic medical records (EMRs) or Enterprise Resource Products (ERPs).

Responsibilities:
Provide strategic leadership in overall management across multiple domains, ensuring alignment with corporate and solutions strategy.
Leads cross-functional initiatives, engages stakeholders at all levels, and conducts in-depth member and market research to inform decision-making.
Take full ownership of defining and managing the overall product strategy and vision, aligning with other teams across the company to promote integration and consistency of experience.
Collaborate closely with business stakeholders, such as sales and service teams, to develop a deep understanding of client business needs.
Engage in in-depth conversations with the sales team to gain insights into factors contributing to wins and losses.
Define the product vision by understanding market trends, customer needs, and business goals.
Proactively identifies integration opportunities across portfolios to drive synergies and maximize value for the organization.
Establish a strong partnership with the competitive intelligence group to translate research findings into actionable product-specific intelligence.
Identify gaps in the overall product portfolio and strategically positions the organization to stay ahead of the competition.
Provide strategic guidance to ensure that product roadmap decisions are driven by market insights, customer needs, and business value.
Actively participates in build, buy, and partner conversations, providing valuable feedback on decisions and investments for business cases.
Actively supports the sales team in active opportunities by developing sales collateral and ensuring the team has the necessary resources and tools.
Engages in budget conversations, leveraging senior-level insights to inform decision-making and drive financial efficiency.
Develop product portfolio positioning and messaging strategies that resonate with target buyer personas.
Collaborate closely with sales and marketing teams to ensure alignment with market trends, customer needs, and the competitive landscape.

Qualifications:
Relevant degree in business-related or analytical discipline preferred. MBA, MPH or MHA desired.
10 or more years' relevant experience in a product management/product ownership role required.
Experience developing data digital products desired.
Experience working with data specifications and data mapping between systems desired.
Experience with EMR's, ERP's interoperability software or data standards preferred.
Experience working in an agile development environment preferred.
Strong project management skills, organizational, interpersonal and communication skills preferred.

Estimated Hiring Range:At Vizient, we consider skills, experience, and organizational needs in our compensation approach. Geographic factors may adjust the range estimate and hires typically fall below the top range. Compensation decisions are tailored to individual circumstances. The current salary range for this role is $135,200.00 to $223,200.00.

This position is also incentive eligible.
