Job Description

We are currently seeking a Financial Analyst to join the Central Property Management Finance team in Chicago, IL.

Our Financial Analyst is a collaborative team member supporting core business analysis and metrics for the account. Responsibilities:
Key financial business partner interfacing with Property Management leadership/teams in Central Region
Lead monthly financial meetings with leadership including P&L reviews with each geographic team to monitor actual revenue & expense results vs. Plan and prior year
Produce accurate monthly financial statements and provide variance analysis on information which could include supporting revenue schedules, labor reports, expense review, and property profitability analyses
Lead in the creation of the annual financial plan and quarterly forecasts
Assist in maintaining an accurate pipeline (work in process) by obtaining and updating transaction details
Review accounts payable vouchers for accuracy and compliance with corporate guidelines
Process journal entries and accruals
Ensure accounts receivable objectives and metrics are met, and oversee maintenance and research on AR over 30 days past due
Special projects and other functions as required by manager

Qualifications:
Successful candidates will possess a Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance with minimum 2-3 years of experience
Ability to work with a variety of customers, including sales professionals and business leadership
Strong communication, presentation and analytical skills
Must be a self-starter with the ability to excel in a fast paced and customer service oriented environment
Strong attention to detail with the ability to understand big picture
Flexible and adaptable to tasks assigned
A high degree of proficiency in Excel and other Microsoft office applications. PeopleSoft and Oracle knowledge is plus.
