Email a Friend Save Save Apply Now Position Summary: Serves as a leader, innovator, mentor and role model for Peoria Cardiovascular Services. Collaborates with the CV Director, CV Manager, CV Medical Director, Physicians, Chief Nursing Executive, Vice Presidents, Managers of hospital departments and staff to coordinate educational efforts and CV best practice to best serve our patients. Provides oversight and is responsible for the day-to-day operations and KPI’s of the Peoria Cardiovascular Services. Qualifications: EDUCATION REQUIREMENTSADN or BSNCERTIFICATION & LICENSURE REQUIREMENTS Registered Professional Nurse (RN) License Registered Nurse with current IL license required. EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS Experience in leadership role preferred. ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS

+ Use of usual and customary equipment used to perform essential functions of the position.

SKILLS AND KNOWLEDGE Excellent interpersonal and communication. Knowledge about wound and wound care processes.Leadership, management, and supervisory abilities.Proficient in various computer applications Essential Functions:

+ Key Accountability – Leadership * Responsible for implementation, ongoing oversight and leadership of the outpatient wound care center & HBOT. * Provides day-to-day outpatient wound program operations oversight, quality management and performance improvement. * Responsible for achieving program metrics & overseeing CVS KPI’s. * Ensures program accreditation and regulatory requirements are understood and met. * Oversees the CVS processes and ensures that services are provided in a fiscally responsible manner. * Monitors patient safety reports related to wound. * Collaborates with all delivery of care areas. * Serves as a mentor and leader * Patient Care & Case Management * Communicates with Clinic Manager regarding scheduling issues & day-to-day needs. * Assists Clinic Manager with annual employee reviews. * Ensures accurate data entry and clinical practice guidelines usage. * Reviews schedule & staffing for efficient and effective workflow & productivity. * Other duties as assigned

+ Key Accountability – Financial Performance * Manages financial resources to meet or exceed budget expectations * Demonstrates innovation in the delivery of quality services
