Job Description
DRIVER
Starting at $17-$20 (salary is based on years of experience)
Shift and Weekend Differentials!
Shift: 11am-7pm
Must be available to work a flexible schedule including evenings and weekends as needed, and have familiarity with the North Shore and surrounding suburbs.
The main function of this position is to transport residents to on-campus appointments (in a wheelchair), off campus medical appointments (by car) and off campus trips and activities (by bus).
The minimum education, experience and qualifications for this position are: high school graduate or equivalent; knowledge of Microsoft Office including: Excel, Word and Outlook is a plus; prior experience in a hospital environment and/or senior care is a plus; must have no moving violations for three years prior to employment. Must have the ability to push/pull a wheelchair carrying up to 250 pounds;excellent verbal communication and interpersonal skills and the ability to interact with and build relationships with older adults.
