Job Title: Bartender

Location: Lake Forest Place. Lake Forest, IL

Job Summary: We are seeking a friendly and skilled bartender to join our team at Lake Forest Place. As a bartender, you will play a crucial role in creating a warm and welcoming atmosphere for our residents and their guests. Your primary responsibility will be to provide exceptional service at our on-site bar, ensuring that residents have an enjoyable experience during their social gatherings.

Responsibilities:

+ Greet residents and guests with a smile and positive attitude.

+ Take drink orders and prepare alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages.

+ Maintain a clean and organized bar area.

+ Engage in friendly conversation with residents and make them feel comfortable.

+ Ensure responsible alcohol service and adhere to all legal regulations.

+ Assist with planning and hosting special events and themed nights.

+ Collaborate with kitchen staff to coordinate food and beverage service.

+ Handle cash transactions accurately and efficiently.

+ Monitor inventory levels and restock supplies as needed.

+ Provide excellent customer service and address any concerns promptly.

Qualifications:

+ Previous bartending experience preferred.

+ Knowledge of various drink recipes and mixing techniques.

+ Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

+ Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment.

+ Friendly, patient, and compassionate demeanor.

+ Understanding of senior living and the unique needs of older adults.

+ Must be at least 21 years old.

+ TIPS or other relevant certifications a plus.

Schedule: Full-time, 2nd Shift 1:30pm – 7:30pm. This position may require evening and weekend shifts to accommodate resident events and social hours.
