Finance Planning & Analytics (FP&A) Senior Consultant

We work as trusted advisors to CFO’s, COO’s, CIO’s and other key executives to advise, implement, and deliver as-a service solutions, improving finance, shared service and real estate operations, and helping clients develop strategies to support enterprise-wide decision making.

Our FI&T team transforms Finance from function to dynamic capability.As finance cycles converge, we advise, implement, and operate best-in-class solutions across actuals and forecast to accelerate insights including finance and analytics, planning, FP&A as-a-service, finance technology strategy, and ERP-enabled finance transformation.
Work You’ll Do
As a Senior Consultant, you’ll work with diverse global clients across a wide range of industries. You will have a variety of client-facing responsibilities such as diagnosing issues using advanced analytical techniques, interviewing staff, formulating, and making recommendations, and helping clients implement proposed solutions.

Qualifications
Required:
+ Five plus years of relevant consulting experience in a professional services environment, with a large or boutique consulting firm, or serving as an internal consultant within industry.
+ Financial planning and forecasting, planning analytics, financial modeling, operational finance, predictive forecasting
+ Understanding of analytics tools for reporting, data and new technologies
+ Ability to identify client’s financial risks and opportunities
+ Experience advising clients on tools and models to drive efficiencies and cost saving opportunities
+ Ability to engage with cross-functional teams such as controllers, corp FP&A, finance and accounting teams and IT
+ Planning, budgeting, and forecasting optimization experience
+ Skills in management reporting and analytics design
+ Experience in supporting mergers and acquisitions through due diligence, valuation, and post-acquisition integration
+ Limited immigration sponsorship may be available
+ Ability to travel up to 50%, based on the work you do and the clients and industries/sectors you serve
+ Bachelor’s degree from accredited university
Preferred:+ Advanced analytics methods and skills experience serving finance and CFO office
+ Ability to read complex financial and analytic models
+ Strong understanding of accounting concepts, US GAAP and applications
+ Zero-based budgeting (ZBB)
+ Cost and profitability management optimization experience
+ Experience with EPM Software, Oracle, SAP, Anaplan, OneStream or Workday Adaptive.
+ Finance AI capabilities like predictive/driver-based forecasting
+ Experience with connected planning across cycles (LRFP, Forecast, Budget) and/or EBP
+ Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks and assignments
+ Outstanding critical thinking, analytics, and problem-solving skills with the ability to exercise mature judgment
+ Strong oral and written communication skills, including presentation skills; professional competence in the Microsoft Office suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, Teams)
The wage range for this role takes into account the wide range of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions including but not limited to skill sets; experience and training; licensure and certifications; and other business and organizational needs. The disclosed range estimate has not been adjusted for the applicable geographic differential associated with the location at which the position may be filled. At Deloitte, it is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the range for their role and compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case. A reasonable estimate of the current range is $124,950- $208,250.You may also be eligible to participate in a discretionary annual incentive program, subject to the rules governing the program, whereby an award, if any, depends on various factors, including, without limitation, individual and organizational performance.
