Job Summary :

As a Development Analyst, you will be responsible for providing analytical sample processing and data review to support SOS SM Services initiatives. You will use a variety of analytical techniques and wet chemistry to process oil, fuel, and source water and/or coolant samples submitted by customers. Engineers and dealers use results to manage equipment preventive maintenance schedules.

What will you do:

+ Collaborating across all shifts to provide a smooth transition of data review and processing to meet daily turnaround times.

+ Leveraging a variety of analytical and wet chemistry techniques to process oil, fuel, and coolant samples from all heavy equipment manufacturers across the globe.

+ Developing and maintaining positive relationships with internal and external customers.

+ Adhering to all quality assurance and safety standards.

+ Daily tasks may include the following: Sample Prep and Handling (receipt to disposal), Material Inspection, Data review and LIMS transfer, Viscosity Analysis, FTIR Analysis, Gas Chromatography, Titrations, ICP Analysis, Instrument Troubleshooting, Preparation of Reagents and standards, Daily Instrument Validation

What you Have:

+ 4-year bachelor’s degree or equivalent lab experience

+ Proficiency using Microsoft Office 365 products

+ Strong communication skills

Top Candidates will also have:

+ Familiarity with operational and/or laboratory processes

+ Familiarity with company policies and procedures

+ Prior laboratory experience

+ Prior experience working within a Quality Management System (QMS): i.e. maintaining quality procedures, document control, continuous improvement
