Job Description

As a Green Corn Receiving Lab Assistant, you will be responsible for performing various lab duties, including pulling samples and operating computers for data entry and documentation. This role is crucial for maintaining the quality and accuracy of data, involving tasks such as printing tags for bag orders, visual seed inspections, recording results, and probing sampling of boxes and bags. You will also assist with color sorting samples and processing samples from green corn as per guidelines. Additionally, the role involves clerical work and ensuring a clean workspace during changeovers or at the end of shifts.

Job Type

This is a contract position with a duration of 12 Weekly.

Work Site

This is a fully on-site position in Woodhull, Illinois.

Work Environment

This position requires working 6 days a week, including weekends, as operations run 7 days a week. The work hours are from 6 AM to 6:30 PM, involving more structured office tasks and computer entry work.
