Job Title: CNC Milling Machinist

Job Description

As a CNC Milling Machinist, you will be responsible for taking a part from print to finished product independently. You will receive a drawing, set your own vices, select appropriate tooling/material, and download the necessary program to manufacture the part. The parts you will handle vary in size from 2 inches to 24 inches, primarily using stainless steel. Your responsibilities will also include reading and interpreting blueprints, collaborating with engineering teams to enhance machining processes, performing full setups on machines, troubleshooting, and conducting first-piece inspections using various gauging tools.

Hard Skills

+ Reading and interpreting engineering drawings

+ Machine setup and troubleshooting

+ Experience with CMX 1100s

+ Familiarity with Mitsubishi

+ Precision machining with tolerances up to +- .0005

+ First piece inspection with CMM and other gauging tools

Soft Skills

+ Problem-solving

+ Attention to detail

+ Collaboration with engineering teams

Job Type

This is a Contract-to-Hire position with a duration of 6 Month(s).

Work Site

This is a fully on-site position in Addison, Illinois.

Work Environment

The work environment features a very clean, well-lit, and organized shop floor. It is equipped with 5 vertical milling centers (HAAS, Mori, and Mazak 200 Milling centers with live tooling) and 5 3-5 axis turning centers (HAAS and Mori’s).
