Job Title: Machine Builder

Job Description

This position is for a Machine Builder where you will work from drawings and written communication to layout, assemble, route piping/tubing, and test tight tolerance parts and equipment. Your responsibilities will include analyzing assembly drawings and specifications, planning assembly or building operations, fastening components or parts together using hand tools, positioning and aligning components for assembly manually or with hoists, and reworking, repairing, or replacing damaged parts or assemblies. You will also lay out, drill, ream, tap, and cut parts for assembly, fasten and install piping, fixtures, or wiring and electrical components to specifications, inspect and test parts and accessories for leakage, defect, or functionality using test equipment, and set and verify clearance of parts. Additionally, you will operate machines to verify functioning, machine capabilities, and conformance to customer’s specifications, maintain and lubricate parts and components, troubleshoot issues, and effectively manage work time to meet production needs and schedules.

Work Environment

The work environment is a very clean, modern, air-conditioned shop with new equipment and machinery. The facility includes a full-blown machine shop and an electrical controls department that handles all wiring.
