Minimum Requirements

Navistar, Inc. is seeking a Project Engineer Sr. in Lisle, IL with the following requirements: Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Engineering Technology or Computer Science and 8 years of experience in product design/development and/or computer science experience including 1 year leading others in engineer/design activities OR Master’s degree in Engineering, Engineering Technology or Computer Science and 6 years of experience in product design/development and/or computer science experience including 1 year leading others in engineer/design activities OR PhD in Engineering, Engineering Technology or Computer Science and 3 years of experience in product design/development and/or computer science experience including 1 year leading others in engineer/design activities. Required Skills: Use software provided by StarCD CCM+, Fluent, TAITherm, and Converge to complete 3D transient and Steady State Thermal-Fluid simulations (2 yrs); Clean up and Modify CAD files with NX, Spaceclaim, ANSA, and Design Modeler (2 yrs); Provide postprocess Simulation Results with Star-CCM+, CFD-Post, Ensight, and Tecplot (2 yrs); Use software provided by GT-Suite to simulate 1D Engine System Performance (2 yrs).

Additional Requirements

+ Qualified candidates, excluding current Navistar employees, must be legally authorized on an unrestricted basis (US Citizen, Legal Permanent Resident, Refugee or Asylee) to be employed in the United States.
