General Summary:
Our Director of Observability is a leadership role focused on ensuring the comprehensive monitoring and visibility of Unum’s IT systems and applications. As businesses undergo digital transformation, they increasingly rely on complex and distributed systems. The Director of Observability plays a critical role in managing and optimizing these systems to ensure they are efficient, reliable, and scalable.
The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong technical acumen, proven people management experience, and knowledge in observability tools such as Dynatrace, SolarWinds, etc. If you demonstrate exceptional collaboration with stakeholders, including senior leadership, possess outstanding communication and analytical skills, and consider yourself a change champion, we invite you to apply!

The base salary range for applicants for this position is listed below. Unless actual salary is indicated above in the job description, actual pay will be based on skill, geographical location and experience.
$109,100.00-$213,300.00
Additionally, Unum offers a portfolio of benefits and rewards that are competitive and comprehensive including healthcare benefits (health, vision, dental), insurance benefits (short & long-term disability), performance-based incentive plans, paid time off, and a 401(k) retirement plan with an employer match up to 5% and an additional 4.5% contribution whether you contribute to the plan or not. All benefits are subject to the terms and conditions of individual Plans.
