Job Description

Our client, a leading supplier of fats and oils to the Foodservice, Food Ingredients and Retail Private Label markets in North America and is a producer of quality bulk and packaged dressings, mayonnaise and sauces, is seeking a PLC Programmer to join their team. As a PLC Programmer, you would manage, maintain, and create all plant programmable control systems (PLC), assist in the analysis of current programs, and manage all plant computer systems.

Job Title: PLC Programmer

Location: Quincy, IL 62305

Pay Range: $70k-$100k

What’s the Job?

+ Troubleshoot all current PLC and computer related processes.

+ Project management, purchasing, and supervision of contractors for all projects to assure completion on a timely basis within budget.

+ Create all new programs, process controls, and computer related systems.

+ Follow, monitor, and ensure compliance with all safety, food safety, environmental, GMP rules, regulations, and policies.

+ Order and specify all hardware and software for all plant systems

What’s Needed?

+ Bachelor’s Degree in engineering or equivalent experience

+ 3-5 years of experience is preferred.

+ This position will require employees to walk up stairs and be able to be in the field standing for long periods of time (2 to 4 hours at a time).

+ Equipment/Software Skills : PLC Controls, Programmer Controls, Automation Controls, Industrial PC, Ladder Logic Programmer, RS Logix, Iconic
