What You’ll Be Doing:

This position is responsible for payroll administration including processing timesheets, validating paycheck calculations, and responding to employee questions. This role should have a basic understanding of the process from timesheet to paycheck and be able to calculate gross to net. This role includes a basic understanding of payroll taxes. Established career path for advancement within the team structure.

Collaboration Opportunities :

Opportunity to work with our payroll team (group of 5) daily on answering employee questions in our payroll mailbox, which also includes discussing projects as a team and 1:1 meeting with your manager weekly. On occasion partner with Human Resources and Finance department on various projects if needed.

What You Will Be Doing:

+ Processing hourly timesheets across various pay period dates including following up on unsubmitted/unapproved timesheets in accordance with established practice.

+ Assist with handling the Payroll mailbox to ensure timely and accurate responses are provided to employees.

+ Ability to take the initiative to identify, investigate, and resolve basic payroll questions.

+ Providing employees instructions on navigating the payroll system for tax and payment election questions.

+ Running and auditing assigned payroll reports.

+ Assist with inputting data entry and processing special payments as needed.

+ Ability to manage assigned tasks, work, and be engaged with a team in a remote fast-paced environment.

+ Responsibility is limited with all work reviewed by a senior member of the team.

Qualifications – Required and Preferred:

+ Minimum of 1 year payroll experience. ( Required)
