How OptiFreight® Logistics Carrier Relations contributes to Cardinal Health

The Parcel team within Carrier Relations is responsible for our carrier strategy and contracting to ensure we have access to the right products and solutions, and we help to maintain and strengthen the parcel relationships both nationally and locally to help deliver an exceptional customer experience. Our team manages a wide range of parcel projects and we partner with sales, operations, marketing and other cross departmental team members in those efforts. We are responsible for communicating relevant information to support the organization with navigating current and future trends in the parcel industry.

OptiFreight **** Logistics is the leading provider of Inbound, Outbound, and Less than Truckload (LTL) Shipping and freight management services for the Healthcare sector.

Location : Remote

Responsibilities

+ Contributes to the carrier relations strategy and helps with project management

+ Develops and implements standardized SOPs and helps monitor and improve carrier SLAs

+ Supports OptiFreight Logistics carrier education curriculum with Learning and Development and Marketing

+ Collaborate and align with Marketing around content creation and communications

+ Works with Customer Success Team Members and Sales Team to gather insights

+ Involved with implementation and service initiatives while helping to navigate industry change

+ Analyzes market research, trends, projections and innovations

+ Be proactive with parcel insights and knowledge sharing

+ Spearhead communications to the organization that involves parcel related updates

+ Responsible for keeping cross-functional teams informed about parcel carrier products and relationships

+ Proactive positioning of OptiFreight Logistics services and solutions to supported carriers

Qualifications

+ 4 years parcel transportation experience required

+ Bachelors degree or equivalent experience preferred

+ Executive selling presence highly desired

+ Experience/ knowledge in customer transportation sales or carrier management

+ Proven product knowledge in business area

Anticipated salary range: $92,100-$118,440
