Position Summary:
We are looking for Part-time Janitors for the day shift, to take care of our building and carry out cleaning and maintenance duties. The goal is to keep our facility in a clean and orderly condition.
- Pay Rate: $17.20 per hour
- Shifts: Evening - Part Time Monday - Thursday 11:00 am - 6:00 pm
- Location: Scott Air Force Base, I
- This is an ideal position for an individual with a documented disability or receiving social security/disability benefits. Candidates with a documented disability will be strongly considered!
Typical Job Duties:
- Responsible for janitorial duties at Scott Air Force Base.
- Cleans, sanitizes, sweeps, mops, vacuums, dusts, restocks, and empties trash.
- Expected to safely operate equipment
- Contributes to teamwork by training and helping co-workers
- Continually performs duties with a special focus on safety, quality and customer service.
Requirements:
Physical Requirements
- lifting and carrying up to 30 lbs.
- pushing and pulling up to 30 lbs.
- Walking, mopping, bending.
Other Requirements:
- Be 18 years or older
- Pass criminal background checks and various state/federal registry checks.
