Job Description

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Tech Subscription Professional to oversee the operational and financial aspects of our technology subscriptions. The Tech Subscription Professional will be responsible for managing and optimizing subscriptions across various tech platforms, working closely with the finance team on budgeting, vendor payment setup, and budget tracking. This role requires excellent organizational skills, financial acumen, and the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
Responsibilities:
Manage and optimize tech subscriptions, ensuring efficient utilization of resources and alignment with business needs.
Develop and maintain a comprehensive inventory of technology subscriptions, including their costs, features, renewal dates, and usage.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams (IT, Finance, and relevant stakeholders) to establish and manage the technology subscription budget, ensuring accurate and timely budgeting and forecasting.
Work closely with the finance team to ensure seamless vendor payment setup and processing, including timely initiation of vendor contracts and invoices.
Maintain regular communication with vendors, evaluating contract terms, and negotiating favorable pricing and licensing agreements.
Track, analyze, and report on key subscription metrics, providing insights and recommendations for cost optimization and process improvements.
Regularly review subscription usage data to identify underutilized resources, recommend cost-saving measures, and monitor compliance with subscription policies.
Stay up-to-date with emerging technologies and trends in the market, providing input on potential new subscription solutions and improvements to existing technologies.
Collaborate with internal stakeholders to enhance the visibility and understanding of technology subscriptions within the organization.
Ensure compliance with relevant financial regulations and internal control procedures.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Finance, or a related field.
Proven experience in managing technology subscriptions, preferably in a fast-paced corporate environment.
Strong financial acumen, with experience in budgeting, vendor management, and financial analysis.
Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail, with the ability to multitask and manage competing priorities.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify trends and provide insights based on data.
Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and external vendors.
Project or program management experience preferred
Proficiency in financial software systems and tools, with a good understanding of accounting principles.
Ability to navigate ambiguity and adapt quickly to changing priorities.
Strong negotiation and contract management skills.
Knowledge of emerging technology trends and their impact on the business.
