Position: Revenue Cycle Analyst
Location: Warrenville, IL
Full Time
Hours: Monday-Friday, [hours and flexible work schedules]

What you will need:Required Education, Experience and/or Skills:
Bachelor's degree
Minimum two years of healthcare analytics experience
Epic proficiency
Microsoft Office proficiency
High level of analytical ability
Ability to effectively communicate with all levels within the organization
Strong interpersonal skills
Preferred Education and/or Experience:
Bachelor's degree in Healthcare Administration, Business, Accounting, Mathematics or Computer Science
Minimum five years of healthcare analytics experience in an Epic environment
Data report development and analysis experience
Process improvement experiencePreferred License and/or Certification:
Certified Healthcare Financial Professional (CHFP)

What you will do:
Monitors Revenue Cycle improvement and performance. Monitors revenue cycle KPIs and identify areas for efficiency.
Collects, monitors, and analyzes data, and provides recommendations to Revenue Cycle leadership to drive better performance throughout the revenue cycle. Identifies different types of data that require tracking to improve revenue cycle performance. Analyzes data to identify opportunities for process improvement.
Develops and produces reporting that will create accountability and drive change. Develops easy-to-interpret reporting based on collected data and develops operating procedures in collaboration with leadership to ensure continued monitoring. Produces reports that track performance and are easy-to-interpret.
Develops and completes critical Revenue Cycle projects by collaborating with key stakeholders across the organization. These projects affect business operations to a substantial degree.
Provides expert consultation to leadership as the subject matter expert for revenue cycle data.
Interprets existing revenue cycle policies and operating practices to make recommendations for improvements.
Works with leadership to prioritize recommended changes. Drives change through data and collaboration with leadership and staff.
Develops an understanding of complex rules and regulations governing insurance, appeal activities, trends, etc. and make recommendations on system build to accommodate changes in these areas.
Develops an understanding of the entire revenue cycle and the factors that lead to denials and revenue loss.
