We are seeking a Business Analyst to support the Migration Workstream of the Alternatives Evolution Program. Our ideal candidate would preferably have proven experience in platform migrations, be a self-motivated and detail oriented partner, with a willingness to take charge of a project to deliver results in a fast-paced environment. The Business Analyst role is critical to the success of the program, and as such we are seeking a collaborative individual with strong technical and communication skills. Our ideal candidate would be able to work on multiple projects simultaneously to deliver actionable requirements and business outcomes to meet client service, improve operational efficiency, and innovate within the Alternatives product space.

In this role, as a Business Analyst you will be expected to:

  • Provide input into developing and implementing a migration strategy of the Clients' holdings from the legacy platforms onto the new Alternatives Lifecycle Engine
  • Execute a conversion testing strategy, incorporating dry runs and dress rehearsals.
  • Provide input into the creation and ongoing refinement of a Migration Runbook, incorporating pre- migration tasks, as well as post migration validation checks.
  • Work with the Migration Workstream Lead to agree on priorities for the team to ensure that the tasks are being clearly defined and met in a timely manner
  • Evaluate Client's readiness for migration, considering any current special instructions/processes mitigating any Operational Risk
  • Develop test cases and test packs
  • Present the results of your work to senior management and stakeholders
  • Present ideas to the product team for new capabilities
  • Thrive in a highly variable, fast paced environment with changing priorities and tasks



Qualifications

  • Excellent oral and written communication skills, including an ability to extract complexity so that it can be readily understood and acted upon.
  • Excellent organizational skills and an ability to prioritize multiple deliverables and work independently with minimum supervision.
  • Knowledge of Alternative Asset Service products and business processes is highly preferred.
  • Bachelor's degree and/or relevant, proven work experience.
  • The strongest applicants will also have previous experience in Agile methodologies or Change Management functions.
