Job Overview:

This is a hands-on position supporting both the quality and the manufacturing function to verify and document that all material conforms to company and customer established standards of dimensions, content and quality throughout the manufacturing process. Responsible for identifying, analyzing, and developing improvements in productivity, quality, and customer service.

Duties and Responsibilities:

· Interpret part conformance to customer’s quality requirements as defined by the purchase order, engineering prints and all applicable specifications.

· Respond to part and/or process related customer rejections in a timely manner.

· Prepare written inspection plans, procedures and testing instruction as required to prevent escape of defective product.

· Prepare customer PPAP documentation per customer requirements.

· Monitor customer portals. Review Customer of CSR’s must be completed in the absence of our quality assurance administrator.

· Lead Corrective Action Teams for external and internal corrective actions.

· Ability to audit processes to customer requirements and industry standards, including ISO 9001 / IATF 16949:2015.

· Plan, develop, initiate, coordinate, and implement the most effective procedures for optimum quality control. Collect dimension data and input for statistical reports when required.

· Assist in maintaining / verifying material traceability throughout manufacturing and assembly.

· Develop and monitor the QC related database used by other QC Techs / personnel. Maintain adequate quality records.

· Serve as a resource for inspection and manufacturing personnel. Give direction on questions related to part quality as needed.

· Prepare and distribute quality-related reports to management on a regular basis as requested.

· Ability to develop and maintain detailed records as well as generate reports.

· Comply with LMC Associate / Employee Handbook, and the ASQ Code of Ethics.

· Perform other related duties as requested.
