Position Summary:
The Office of Medical Education at Chicago Medical School is seeking a full-time, highly organized, and efficient Administrative Coordinator. The Administrative Coordinator for Curricular Resources provides multidimensional support for the educational program at Chicago Medical School (CMS).

Rosalind Franklin University of Medicine and Science (RFUMS) is a six-college graduate health sciences university dedicated to the interprofessional education of health and biomedical professionals. Chicago Medical School, the original college of the six, has been educating physicians and furthering biomedical research for more than 100 years. Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

Curricular Committee Support:

Coordinate and execute multi-level administrative support to CMS Curriculum Committee and associated Sub-Committees. Curricular Sub-Committees and work groups include, but are not limited to, Year 1/Year 2 and Year 3/Year 4 Subcommittees, Innovation, Design, Evaluation, and Assessment Subcommittee, Horizontal and Vertical Integration Subcommittee, CMS Curriculum Retreats, Comprehensive Curricular Phase Reviews, and other Committees/Subcommittees/Task Forces/Working Groups as assigned.

Administratively support (room reservations, teleconferencing/virtual platforms, agenda preparation, material dissemination, meeting minutes) the CMS curricular committees listed above.

Manage and populate D2L sites, Google Docs, Excel spreadsheets, etc. for the CMS curricular committees listed above.

Assist in preparation of presentations for CMS/RFUMS committees and internal publications for both internal and external stakeholders

Manage the student representative solicitation and appointment process for all CMS Curricular Committees.

Curate, categorize, track, and oversee an open action item list for comprehensive phase and course/clerkship continuous quality improvement.

Create and manage Curriculum Committee Annual Recurring Items List. Establish feasible timeframes to achieve the goals and objectives outlined in the curriculum. Coordinate presentations and deliverables with Committee Chairs and responsible parties.

Curricular Resource Management:

Facilitate the production of physical and digital resources to include, but not limited to, individual course syllabi, individual course competency maps, course reviews, the CMS Master Competency Map, and the CMS Master Curriculum Guide.

Perform thorough reviews of syllabi and competency maps, format and edit for grammar and accuracy, and ensure compliance with approved templates and other published curricular resources.

Curate and manage a shared and organized repository of all official documents, templates, and tracking spreadsheets. Maintain central location for copies of approved records.

Gather curricular resources and assist with the creation of curricular databases that will be uploaded into both the vendor system and the AAMC Curriculum Inventory/Curriculum SCOPE Survey.

Schedule, organize, and facilitate the delivery of curricular materials to committee members.

Disseminate regular email communications to the student body at large regarding Curriculum Committee business

Serve as liaison between faculty and staff in all aspects of the production of syllabi and competency maps.

Collaborate with academic department chairs, course and clerkship directors, and administrative department heads to maintain curricular resources in the CMS curriculum. Assure that all centralized management processes are coordinated and organized efficiently.
