Position: Trauma Acute Care Surgeon
Location: Evanston, IL
Full Time
Hours: Flexible Work Schedule
A Brief Overview:
You will join a team of 28 partners in the multispecialty General Surgery Division, specifically with 9 surgeons dedicated to acute care/trauma services. The division is also comprised of fellowship trained surgeons in colorectal, minimally invasive, bariatric, and hepatobiliarysubspecialties.
.
Responsibilities include:
Emergency general surgery, coverage for our Level 1 Trauma Center at Evanston Hospital in Cook County, Level II Trauma coverage at Highland Park Hospital, Glenbrook Hospital and ICU coverage for our surgical patients.
Oversees Residency and Fellowship Programs through the University of Chicago Pritzker School of Medicine.
Teaching opportunities, academic appointment
Research opportunities are available for interested and qualified candidates.
