Job Description

The Senior FP&A Manager, Industrial is responsible for the financial planning and analysis activities within the Industrial Group of Ecolab. The primary role of the FP&A manager is to provide financial performance outlook and business insights to senior leadership. This position requires partnership across multiple stakeholders within the organization and will have significant exposure and growth opportunities. As FP&A manager, you will lead and develop a team of analysts and work closely with the divisional finance teams to drive full P&L results.

What You Will Do:
Report, analyze, and summarize financial and operational performance results including variance and trend analysis, risks and opportunity assessment, identification and follow up of corrective actions, and driving fact-based business decision-making
Provide leadership, coaching, mentoring, and development to finance associates to achieve business results and prepare associates for future responsibilities
Drive FP&A transformation goals to optimize, simplify, and automate P&A tasks across all Ecolab divisions.
Coordinate monthly close and forecast activities, including communicatingguidance, facilitating system loads, analyzing results, and preparing content forbusiness reviews with senior leadership.
Partner with division finance teams to understand external and internal businessdynamics and their impact on results.
Lead the development of the annual plan by workingacross multiple key stakeholders.
Develop sustainable content for use in monthly business reviews (MBRs) andprovide ad-hoc financial analytics and deep dives to facilitate decision making.
Partner with broader finance and business stakeholders to drive critical reporting needs andcapabilities.

Minimum Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field
5 years of Finance experience

Preferred Qualifications:
Proven ability to lead, motivate staff, and build a teamwork environment
Strong leadership skills with strengths in analytical and communications, handling complexity and organizational sensitivity
Strong analytical aptitude, high attention to detail and the ability to work independently
Result oriented, proactive, and possesses a high level of integrity
A high impact individual with a strong "sense of self" who is comfortable working with executive management
Previous experience working closely with senior level managers (SVP/GM's/VPs of Divisions or Regions)
Strong written and verbal communication skills and interpersonal skills
Self-motivated, with strong organizational and time management skills
Must demonstrate overall business acumen and ability to deal with ambiguity
