The business unit thyssenkrupp Dynamic Components is one of the leading automotive suppliers and development partners for highly complex drivetrain technologies. Around 3,500 employees produce 27 million drivetrain components a year at ten locations in Germany, Liechtenstein, Hungary, China, USA, Brazil and Mexico. The product range mainly comprises assembled camshafts, valve train systems and rotor shafts for high-end combustion, hybrid and electric engines. Your responsibilities
Summary: Cleaning and janitorial duties as outlined below; to include, restrooms, break rooms, floors, walls and trash removal, etc. This position requires a strong commitment to safety.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities: Other duties may be assigned.
Maintains a safe working environment by complying with all safety and environmental policies in the workplace. Advocates for and promotes a safe work environment by reporting Near Misses and/or other safety and environmental hazards, wearing all required PPE and encouraging others to do the same.
Daily vacuuming of office carpets, lobbies and hallways.
Daily cleaning and sanitizing of all restrooms, to include toilets, sinks, floors, walls, partitions, mirrors and restocking of toiletries.
Empty trash cans as needed in break rooms, restrooms, hallways, production floor, conference rooms and outside collection points.
Clean and sanitize all water coolers and replenish cups as needed.
Daily cleaning and mopping of all break rooms, lobbies, hallways and restrooms and quality labs.
Use floor scrubber to maintain production floors as needed.
Daily cleaning of all hand wash stations throughout the plant.
Clean microwave ovens and sanitize sinks, tables and countertops in all break rooms and kitchenette areas.
Daily run the dishwashers in all facilities.
Weekly sweep and mop the guard house.
Daily picking up of trash on grounds.
Cleaning of company apartments as indicated by Operations Assistant.
Routine vacuuming of company vehicles.
Quarterly stripping and waxing of lunch rooms, quality labs and front office areas.
Has authority to stop processes to correct quality, safety or environmental problems, identify and place suspect product on quality hold, and to promptly notify Supervisory personnel when processes become noncompliant.
Your profile
Education and/or Experience:
High School Diploma or GED along with minimum
1- year experience in janitorial or custodial work.
