Job Summary:
Conducts tests and procedures in the cognitive neuroscience lab; sets up and operates polysomnographic equipment as well as wireless sleep tech for at-home studies; records observations and measurements and collects and compiles data in a research lab; requires a practical understanding of a number of standard scientific techniques.
This is a term position with an end date of 12/31/2025. Opportunity for renewal will be based on performance and available funding.
Specific Responsibilities:
- Follows pre-defined protocols, policies, procedure, regulations, Good Clinical and Good Laboratory Practices and conducts standard and repetitive experiments and completes basic trouble-shooting techniques.
- Sets-up, operates and maintains standard lab equipment.
Other (please specify):
- scheduling and running polysomnographic studies in the lab, and sleep studies in the home, with healthy, adult volunteers
- Records test results and may maintain databases.
- Completes standard and routine clerical duties such as copying, filing, data entry, word processing, etc.
- Completes other duties as assigned
Minimum Qualifications: (Education, experience, and any other certifications or clearances)
- HS diploma or equivalent and some basic science courses is required.
