Target hiring range for this position will be between $78,482 to $88,752 per year. Offered salary will be determined by the applicant’s education, experience, knowledge, skills and abilities, as well as internal equity and alignment with market data.

Job Summary:

The associate director is the functional expert and manager responsible for developing & managing key leadership giving efforts for the law ard team such as reunion class gift fundraising and other leadership gift fundraising initiatives across major markets. The associate director is responsible for meeting with alumni and stakeholders in major markets for the purpose of advancing reunion fundraising, developing leadership donors, and engaging volunteers. This role is responsible for developing broad-based strategic relationship management plans and programs designed to identify & cultivate prospects and alumni in meaningful ways to deepen their relationship with northwestern law. The associate director will assist the senior associate director with overall law school fund strategy and serve as the program lead for all reunion class gift fundraising activity.

Specific Responsibilities:

Strategic Planning

  • Responsible for developing annual strategic plans for key annual giving programs, including reunion class gift fundraising.
  • Coordinate overall reunion fundraising strategy and work with individual class liaisons on developing and executing solicitation strategies, volunteer recruitment/management.
  • Personally manage at least four reunion committees annually in collaboration with the alumni relations team.
  • Responsible for administering and maintaining existing strategic plans relating to specific market segments, programs, and donors to meet goals for engagement and participation.
