What this job involves:
As a Sourcing Manager at JLL, you will play a crucial role in managing the sourcing process for our organization. You will be responsible for identifying, evaluating, and selecting suppliers, negotiating contracts, and ensuring the procurement of goods and services meets quality, cost, and delivery targets. Your expertise will enable us to build strong relationships, optimize costs, and drive value across our global supply chain.
Your day-to-day tasks will include:
Develop and implement sourcing strategies to optimize costs and improve supplier performance
Identify potential suppliers, conduct market research, and evaluate supplier capabilities and financial stability
Negotiate and manage contracts, ensuring favorable terms and conditions
Assess supplier performance based on quality, price, delivery, and responsiveness
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align sourcing strategies and promote supplier innovation opportunities
Support the procurement team in creating and implementing supplier performance management processes
Identify opportunities for supplier consolidation and lead supplier rationalization efforts
Oversee the supplier qualification and evaluation processes
Collaborate with legal and risk management teams to ensure compliance with sourcing and contract policies
Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices to continuously improve sourcing strategies and processes
Desired experience and technical skills:
Requirements:
Minimum of 5 years of experience in strategic sourcing, procurement, or supply chain management
Strong understanding of procurement processes, contract management, and supplier relationship management
Demonstrated negotiation skills and ability to drive cost savings without compromising quality
Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities
Strong project management skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines
Proficiency in using sourcing software and tools, as well as Microsoft Office suite
Preferred:
Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field
Professional certification (e.g., CIPS, CPSM)
Knowledge of the commercial real estate industry and its supply chain dynamics
Experience with global sourcing and working with suppliers in different regions
Experience in leading cross-functional teams and managing supplier relationships at the executive level
