Our Franchise Finance Deal Team is seeking an Associate Loan Closing Representative to support the Senior Closers who lead and facilitate the loan closing process. The ideal candidate will be a self-starter who is detail oriented, well organized, and thrives in a highly collaborative work environment.

 

What Youll Do

  • Assist with the progress and acceptability of all closing components and facilitate administrative tasks for the deal team to ensure timely closing of loan transactions

  • Review credit approval memorandum, prepare closing checklist, and assist in collection of deliverable items and receivables (e.g., liability insurance, flood insurance, asset listings, lease and franchise agreement review); circulating all information and escalating exceptions to the deal team to ensure anticipated funding dates are met

  • Assist in obtaining appropriate supporting documents including title work, flood and OFAC searches, insurance, organizational documents, real estate collateral documentation and various due diligence items to verify compliance with loan approval and bank closing procedures

  • Handle day-to-day administrative tasks including opening retail and commercial accounts, assisting treasury management product partner, processing wires, pulling various retail reports, and assisting in coordination of internal and external participations

  • Focus on retail and commercial depository account opening, funding, maintenance and reporting

  • Process paper-based documentation, incoming/outgoing mail and marketing materials

  • Other duties as assigned

 

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent

  • Prior banking experience with knowledge of account opening and/or commercial loan documents

  • Proactive / confident communication skills (both verbal and written) required to interact with clients, outside vendors, and internal stakeholders
