Job Description
Job Summary
The job entails overseeing a team of system administrators and engineers. The primary duties include monitoring system performance, resolving technical issues, upholding system integrity, and developing system infrastructure. This encompasses management of Windows Server operating systems, enterprise-level storage solutions (both SAN and NAS), data protection technologies, as well as virtualization and cloud-based environments.
Job Description
- Act as a technical leader and mentor to your team members and help to raise the expertise and knowledge of the team.
- Assist in the installation and support of the virtual and physical systems, used to keep and support the Medline environment.
- Assist in the deployment, configuration, and maintenance of physical and virtual servers.This includes patching, tuning, refreshing and related security tasks.
- Provide technical support coverage and provide education where appropriate.
- Evaluate and ensure that all compliance requirements are met.
- Participate in Disaster Recovery planning and related activities.
- Identify opportunities to increase efficiency of team tasks and implement them accordingly.
