Job Description

We’re seeking a professional to work cross-functionally across technology, marketing, and sales to guide and onboard an Event Management platform. The incumbent must have product management experience and be able to design and develop solutions that improve the Commercial Banking event end to end process.

As an Event Management Product Owner, in Commercial Banking, you will work cross-functionally across technology, marketing, and sales to guide and onboard an Event Management platform. You have product management experience and are able to design and develop solutions that improve the Commercial Banking event end to end process. You understand digital marketing projects/demands, product ownership methodologies and business to business marketing trends.

Job Responsibilities

+ Enable Client Engagement and Events Team with self-service capabilities, increasing speed to market for event invitations/communications

+ Simplify end-to-end workflow of event planning and project management processes (e.g., calendar, budget management, etc.) by onboarding a new event management platform

+ Ensure data management and risk/controls requirements are addressed throughout design process, adhering to evolving data privacy laws while also enabling personalized event experiences and end-to-end reporting

+ Onboard Event Management platform to help translate business strategy into product strategy

+ Work with tech to develop MVP (minimum viable product) by end of year

+ Plan and carry out product launch including go to market and training

+ Own and execute product roadmap and strategy, defining and executing against OKRs and KPIs

+ Serve as the strategy lead for event management including requirements gathering, features, user story grooming and acceptance criteria

+ Work directly with Client Engagement, Senior Leadership and Events teams to understand end to end process and translate into use cases for solution design

+ Understand integration points between two platforms and troubleshooting/applying workarounds if necessary

+ Ensure compliance to regulatory requirements and controls

Required Qualifications, Capabilities and Skills:

+ Bachelor’s degree and 4+ years of product or project development experience

+ 1+ years of experience in Product Management and/or Product Development

+ Experience with Event Management Platform such as Stova (formally known as Aventri) or RainFocus

+ Strong product ownership skills including experience in designing and delivering product solutions

Preferred Qualifications, Capabilities and Skills:

+ Demonstrated knowledge of digital marketing strategies and tactics, preferably in a B2B environment

+ Ability to work in a highly regulated, fast-paced, and matrixed environment

+ Must be flexible and able to reprioritize depending on business needs

+ Excellent listener, strategic thinker, and problem solver

+ Superior written and verbal communication skills; strong attention to detail

+ Technical skills desired: database management, basic HTML/CSS, marketing automation, Excel, PowerPoint, project management/collaboration tools (E.g. WorkFront, Jira)
