Job Description:

The Regional Product Manager leads the development and execution of the product line business for Medium Wheel Loaders within the Americas regions.

This position is the value chain entrepreneur responsible for all aspects of the business to ensure the product makes the expected contribution to short and long-term revenue, OPACC, profit, ROS and ROA commitments as well as market share and customer loyalty.

This position provides primary business view to the Vice President of Product Management regarding voice of the customer globally, global economic and competitive trends, technology and product development, manufacturing and supply chain economics and overall profitability for the assigned product business.

+ Regional NPI Requirements

+ Regional Manufacturing and Equipment Processing Centers

+ Service Engineering

+ Assurance of Supply and New Supplier Development in Region

+ Team Leadership and Relationship Management

+ Special projects for VP of Product Management

What You Will Have – Skills and Experience:

Products and Services: Knowledge of major products and services and product and service groups; ability to apply knowledge of product and service appropriately to diverse situations.

Service Excellence: Knowledge of customer service concepts and techniques; ability to meet or exceed customer needs and expectations and provide excellent service in a direct or indirect manner.

Organizational Leadership: Knowledge of leadership concepts and ability to use strategies and skills to enlist others in setting, embracing and achieving objectives.

Strategic Thinking: Knowledge of the importance of “big picture” thinking and planning; ability to apply organizational acumen and competitiveness to identify and maintain focus on key success factors for the organization.

Producing Results: Understanding of the criticality of getting things done in spite of current circumstances and the ability to utilize assigned resources and leverage back-channel resources (individuals or teams) to achieve or exceed planned outcomes.

Competitive Environment: Knowledge of business market concepts and principles; ability to utilize the processes, tools and techniques for gathering, analyzing, and communicating information about the competitive environment.

Knowledge of Customers: Knowledge of various types of customers and ability to analyze customer activities, profiles and information.

Knowledge of Product Line: Knowledge of methodologies, tools and techniques for specific products; ability to develop product line processes and strategies.

Additional Requirements:

+ Bachelor’s degree.

+ 10+ years of related experience with progressive levels of responsibility desired.

Location:

This position will be based in Peoria, IL.
