This product-facing role is responsible for planning and executing strategic actions to address site industrial needs and delivery performance. The role will have visibility to pumps and tanks in Plant 1 in Rockford, Illinois at 2421 11th street.

What You Will Do

+ Focuses on delivery commits, cost reduction, strategic sourcing, supplier capacity and rate readiness and other producibility initiatives.

+ Assist the strategic recoveries in our casting supply and supply chain including but not limited to finding alternate sources, driving rate readiness and reviews with critical suppliers.

+ Responsible for product-oriented metric creation and reporting for Ops performance, field issues and retrofit campaigns, driving site Overdue Review meetings, as well as supporting Program Management Office.

+ Ensuring all quality related items for products are complete and documented to meet established quality standards.

+ Plans and executes scheduling to meet production schedules, including prioritizing for VSL production operations (shop floor management, workforce management, and flow disruption management), plant engineering, scheduling and personnel.

+ Performs professional or management work regularly across multiple manufacturing disciplines.

+ Support Program Management Office, including activities that cannot be attributed to a defined Operations discipline

Qualifications You Must Have

+ Typically requires a University Degree and minimum 2 years of prior relevant experience or an Advanced Degree in a related field or in absence of a degree, 6 years of relevant experience

+ U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are authorized to access information under this program/contract ?

Onsite: Employees who are working in Onsite roles will work primarily onsite. This includes all production and maintenance employees, as they are essential to the development of our products.

The salary range for this role is 64,000 USD – 128,000 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate’s work experience, location, education/training, and key skills.

Payments under these annual programs are not guaranteed and are dependent upon a variety of factors including, but not limited to, individual performance, business unit performance, and/or the company’s performance.
