Job Description

Job Title: Assistant Quality Compliance Manager

+ Support the Quality Compliance Manager in ensuring all company compliance aspects with Global Food Safety Initiative schemes, AIB, Regulatory, and other audits related to Food Safety, Legality, Quality, and Authenticity. Assist in the implementation, monitoring, maintenance, and improvement of Quality Compliance Programs, including prerequisite programs required for compliance to cGMP/GFSI/BRC/AIB/FSMA, and Company policies.

+ Promote and support the standardization of corporate policies and Continual Improvement initiatives.

+ Serve as the on-site Assistant Quality Compliance Manager, fostering a robust ‘Food Safety and Food Quality Culture’.

+ Responsibilities include leading, training, and managing Quality Auditing activities to ensure specifications and goals are met at all facilities.

+ Also, establish, implement, and maintain compliance elements directed by the Quality Management Systems and Best Practices, preparing management teams at all plants for regulatory inspections and audits.

Hard Skills

+ 3-5 years of experience in food compliance/regulatory

+ BRC

+ SQF

+ RFPO

+ Customer auditing

+ Internal auditing

Work Site

This is a fully on-site position in Schaumburg, Illinois.

Work Environment

On-site, with required travel to other locations for client and plant inspections. Will lead safety trainings and communicate with teams at all levels.
