Job Description:

We are seeking a dynamic Manager, Global Procure-to-Pay to join our team at EDB, reporting directly to the Global Controller. In this role, you will be instrumental in driving our procurement strategy, ensuring efficient and cost-effective procurement processes that support the company’s operational and financial objectives. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in procurement, supply chain management, and strategic sourcing, with the ability to drive continuous improvement and build robust supplier relationships.

In this role, you will be responsible for providing day to day leadership for the Procure-to-Pay (P2P) team as well as ongoing strategy, organization, policies, and processes covering the scope outlined below. Collaborating closely with other senior leaders, global team members and cross-functional teams, you will play a crucial role in developing and leading a seamless P2P experience that simplifies and enhances the productivity of our internal customers.

What your impact will be:

+ Assisting in oversight of the global P2P function, ensuring seamless integration and efficient processing of all procurement and accounts payable activities.

+ Developing and implementing procurement strategies and systems to optimize costs, improve supplier relationships, and enhance overall procurement efficiency.

+ Continuously evaluating and improving P2P processes, leveraging automation and best practices to drive operational excellence.

+ Streamlining and leading the supplier onboarding process, ensuring high levels of data quality and compliance with company policies.

+ Designing and enforcing robust controls around P2P transactions, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and internal policies.

+ Establishing and maintaining performance metrics to measure and drive value-added activities within the P2P function.

+ Assisting in oversight global travel and employee expense reimbursement processes, ensuring accuracy and compliance with company policies.

+ Partnering with internal stakeholders to align P2P processes with company goals and objectives.

+ Serving as the primary point of escalation for vendor-related issues, ensuring timely and effective resolution.

+ Conducting staff assessments and performance reviews, fostering our growth mindset, high-performance and collaborative team environment.

+ Driving continuous improvement initiatives within the P2P function, focusing on enhancing efficiency, reducing costs, and improving user experience.

What you will bring:

+ A strong and broad knowledge of P2P – Procurement and P2P processes and practices.

+ 8+ years of progressive experience in procurement, accounts payable, business or functional roles.

+ Bachelor’s Degree in an accounting, business, supply chain, or related discipline, or demonstrated equivalent level of applicable experience.

+ Demonstrated leadership skills and capabilities, both as a people manager and a project leader.

+ Hands on ERP/P2P systems experience.

+ Excellent communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional international teams.

What will give you an edge:

+ Professional designation such as Accredited Payables Manager (APM) or CPSM (Certified Professional in Supply Management)

+ Experience with NetSuite and Navan
