Job Description:

The Product Delivery team is an integral part of the International Client Services organization at Discover and is accountable for the delivery of technical products to our partners in the Americas region. This role will join the Product Delivery team responsible for the delivery of these technical products in the region.

This individual executes strategy for advanced payment products including EMV, Transit, 3DS, Tap on Mobile/Phone and QR Code with a variety of regional payment partners in the Americas region (Issuers, Acquirers, Gateway, etc.). Works closely with business partners to identify market requirements to be incorporated into the product, and provide support to the internal teams as they promote products and services to clients. Actively manages and escalates risk and customer-impacting issues within the day-to-day role to management.

The role will execute and deliver products to our clients by successfully working through challenges and collaborating with multiple stakeholders and will play a central role providing structure and subject matter expertise throughout the product implementation lifecycle.

Responsibilities

+ Ensures product delivery goals are met by providing SME support to internal and external partners to deliver against the strategy.

+ Defines and aligns product delivery approach and goals for allocated markets/partners across key business partners and manages clear communications around progress against strategy.

+ Collaborates across team to ensure appropriate tracking of metrics, reporting, project status. Assesses opportunities to improve product delivery processes and develop efficiency programs.

+ Identifies opportunities to effectively utilize incentive budget.

+ Represents DFS at industry and client events, and prepare and deliver SME-level presentations to multiple levels of internal and external management.

Qualifications You’ll Need

The Basics

+ Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration and Management, Engineering, Information Technology, Finance, or related field

+ 6+ years of experience in EMV, Banking, Payments, Certification, Smart Cards, Contactless NFC, QR code, 3DS or related

+ In lieu of a degree, 8+ years of experience in SRC, EMV, Banking, Payments, Certification, Smart Cards, Contactless NFC, QR code, 3DS or related

Bonus Points If You Have

+ 8+ years of experience in SRC, EMV, Banking, Payments, Certification, Smart Cards, Contactless NFC, QR code, 3DS or related

+ Working knowledge of EMV terminal certification and level 3 terminal implementation requirements in the acquirer, terminal vendor, PSP or merchant domain

+ Spanish -Written/verbal communication skills

+ Strong business experience while still understanding technical concepts.

+ Possess an aptitude for operational excellence. Not afraid to challenge the status quo.

+ Be a problem solver – identify problems/opportunities for improvement at the root cause and implement fixes that have a global impact.

+ Highly driven individual who is results-oriented and has the aptitude to continuously learn about new products/features.

Compensation:

The base pay for this position generally ranges between $88,500.00 to $149,300.00. Additional incentives may be provided as part of a market competitive total compensation package. Factors, such as but not limited to, geographical location, relevant experience, education, and skill level may impact the pay for this position.
