Job Summary:

Leads the Product Management of assigned Digital Products within SPPD Business Insights by managing the development, implementation, and ongoing support of business analytics projects. Customer-focused analytics leader who performs analytical tasks and initiatives to support data-driven business decisions. Provides guidance and direction to junior analysts.

What You Will Do:

- Assessing the scope and resources required of various analytics projects and working with manager to define necessary resources.

- Managing client relations to ensure that project expectations are managed and fulfilled.

- Lead requirements definition and scoping of data analyses; present and report business insights to management using data visualization technologies.

- Direct data gathering and data processing; creating appropriate data models.

- Monitoring and communicating key performance metrics and operational challenges.

Requirements Analysis:

- Confirms deliverables associated with requirements analysis.

- Communicates with customers and users to elicit and gather client requirements.

- Participates in the preparation of detailed documentation and requirements.

- Utilizes specific organizational methods, tools and techniques for requirements analysis.

Query and Database Access Tools:

- Writes, debugs and implements complex queries involving multiple tables or databases.

- Works with aggregate functions, complex joins, groupings, dynamic and embedded SQL’s (Structured Query Languages).

- Teaches others about query optimization techniques and facilities.

- Consults on query optimization, interactive queries, testing and verification.

- Evaluates all major database access tools and functions for distributed databases.

- Compares and contrasts the benefits and drawbacks of various SQL products.

Innovation:

- Finds new or non-traditional ideas to improve effectiveness in team’s area of responsibility.

- Guides team members in the development and fulfillment of proposed innovations.

- Fosters a team culture that encourages exploration of non-traditional ideas.

- Encourages and embraces exploration of non-traditional ideas from team members.

- Implements strategies for renewing or deepening change efforts.

- Develops change initiatives that target improvement of significant organizational capabilities.

Emerging Technologies:

- Evaluates best practices of emerging information technologies to learn and understand principles and applications.

- Resolves all technical and administrative problems that occur in the design, application and evaluation of information technology.

Additional Information

The primary locations for this position are Mossville, IL.

Relocation assistance is not available for this position. Any relocation costs incurred would be the responsibility of the selected candidate.

This position will require less than 10% travel.
