The individual selected for this role will be an essential part of the Power & Actuation contracts team by supporting multi-functional teammates with preparing and delivering data submittals for various programs and customers. This includes but is not limited to reviewing submittals to ensure compliance with Collins policy and contractual requirements, as well as managing volume, frequency, quality, and on time delivery of submittals.

A Data Manager’s typical week includes communicating and preparing upcoming due dates to the program team, monitoring timely receipt of data submittals from functional teammates, reviewing large files to ensure proper export classification markings and data assertions are made, communicating with the end use customer, and delivering compliant data submittals into respective customer websites.

Candidates selected for this role will report to the Sr. Contracts Manger for the Power and Actuation program area and will support program data submittals.

This role will be performed HYBRID from our Collins location in Rockford, IL.

What YOU Will Do: Responsibilities:

Data submittals, also known as CDRL or SDRL, are often an essential part of the contract performance and supply the end user with critical program information. Data submittals may at times be assigned to customer payment milestone or specific contractual due dates and may have varying degrees of importance. Understanding both customer and company desires and meeting contractual commitments will be a critical aspect of this role. Qualifications You Must Have:

+ Typically requires a University Degree and minimum 2 years of prior relevant experience or an Advanced Degree in a related field or in absence of a degree, 6 years of relevant experience

+ U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are authorized to access information under this program/contract
