About the role:

You will provide technical and analytical support for commercial (payor or trade accounts) contracts. Manage all contract administration for assigned contracts. Works cross functionally with Managed Markets, Legal, and Finance to ensure business alignment of opportunities and risks of to drive profitable growth. Act as subject matter expert and provide cross-functional training on contract operations and contract language interpretation.

You will report to Senior Manager, Trade & Alt. Site Contracts.

How you will contribute:

+ Provide a high level of contracting support including drafting and editing contract documents, executing contract documents, managing deadlines relative to contract expirations and post contract evaluation for commercial payor, Medicare Part D and/or trade accounts to achieve favorable economic and/or strategic terms

+ Independently interact with Legal, Managed Markets and external customers to discuss business issues to ensure that business deals meet or exceed the requirements of the corporation and the department

+ Interprets and translates business case requirements into contract language, predicts potential customer concerns, negotiates contract language with external customers and translates such information to ensure accurate contract and pricing establishment and rebate calculations

+ Ensures that business cases, contract documents and business exceptions are properly catalogued and stored to ensure secure archiving and seamless support in preparation of audits

+ Supports internal/external audits by preparing and providing the necessary documentation

+ Assists with the contract implementation of modified strategies, new product launch activities and special projects

+ Identifies, recommends and implements opportunities for process efficiencies including collaboration with Rebate, Chargeback and Pricing Analysts to drive increased efficiencies

Minimum Requirements/Qualifications:

+ Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience required, Masters degree preferred.

+ 5 years of business experience

+ 3+ years of progressive experience in one or more of the following areas: Marketing, Pricing, Contracts, Sales, or Finance in the pharmaceutical or healthcare industry

+ Experience in drafting large volume and high dollar value agreements preferred;

+ Strong communication, analytical, teamwork and time management skills

For Location:

USA – IL – Virtual

U.S. Base Salary Range:

$84,000.00 – $132,000.00

The estimated salary range reflects an anticipated range for this position. The actual base salary offered may depend on a variety of factors, including the qualifications of the individual applicant for the position, years of relevant experience, specific and unique skills, level of education attained, certifications or other professional licenses held, and the location in which the applicant lives and/or from which they will be performing the job.?The actual base salary offered will be in accordance with state or local minimum wage requirements for the job location.

U.S. based employees may be eligible for short-term and/ or long-term incentives. U.S. based employees may be eligible to participate in medical, dental, vision insurance, a 401(k) plan and company match, short-term and long-term disability coverage, basic life insurance, a tuition reimbursement program, paid volunteer time off, company holidays, and well-being benefits, among others.
