The Role

This role will be responsible for process needs of a new program being developed. This program will provide our customers with custom, dedicated networks that allow them to completely customize their solution with Lumen. This will include requirement and process building for the team and any new systems they decide to utilize. As time allows, role will also be responsible for assisting the optimization for process improvement in support of a specific business domain or value stream in alignment with enterprise programs objectives and end-to-end process architecture. Supports Process Architects in the completion of problem analysis, solution design and development, solution implementation planning and execution, training, logistical and infrastructural assistance, standardization, and measurement. Supports both enterprise and domain-initiated programs. Serves as an expert in process design and functional subject matter expert informing decision making on domain specific and cross-functional efforts.

The Main Responsibilities

- Process and/or policy creation for the Custom Networks team within Lumen Technologies

- Build process/policy with compliance by design and work with other teams to establish guardrails within systems and/or reporting

- Provide assistance and/or lead application development project deliverables, based on stakeholder business requirements

- Manage job and project requirements so that projects are completed on time, in scope, within budget, with minimal defects..

- Provide required business and/or technical support for both project and production related activities.

- Assure compliance to required standards and all necessary approvals have been obtained throughout the project lifecycle.

- Interfaces with the business areas, customers, partners, vendors, technical staff and project teams to drive value, return on investments and innovative solutions. This includes providing alternative solutions, including vendor solution acquisitions, with maximum benefits while reducing cost (e.g. cost benefit analysis, pros/cons of solutions).

- Accountable for all aspects of process (e.g. policy, job aides, documentation, system information, etc.) to ensure minimal production and UAT defects are realized

- Will interface closely with the business and technical staff on the team during all phases of the project, including unit and system testing, integration and UAT testing culminating with implementation checkout and post implementation support

- Coordinate and drive the delivery all Business partners

- Translate business requirements to usable documents to help them be successful.

- Work closely with senior management, analyzing long-term business goals and suggesting ways the organization might achieve these goals with technology

- Influence, negotiate, build consensus, and align with stakeholders

- Provide industry knowledge, experience, and best practices to help the team stay ahead of the curve in keeping our technology stack cutting edge

What We Look For in a Candidate

- Experience with new program support is required

- Experience with full organization process support is required

- Experience utilizing Visio is required

- Experience solving business problems that involve process changes

- Experience sourcing, analyzing and using data to solve problems

- Customer experience mindset and ideally experience interfacing directly with internal business partners

- Great communication skills and ideally experience interfacing with high level leadership

Compensation

The starting salary for this role differs based on the employee’s primary work location. Employees typically do not start at the top of the range, though compensation depends on each individual’s qualifications.

Location Based Pay Ranges

$94420 – $125890 in these states: AR, ID, KY, LA, ME, MS, NE, SC, and SD.

$99390 – $132510 in these states: AZ, AL, FL, GA, IN, IA, KS, MO, MT, NM, ND, OH, OK, PA, TN, UT, VT, WV, WI, and WY.

$104360 – $139140 in these states: CO, HI, MI, MN, NV, NH, NC, OR, and RI.

$109330 – $145770 in these states: AK, CA, CT, DE, DC, IL, MD, MA, NJ, NY, TX, VA, and WA.

As with the pay range variety that’s based on the region of a country, specific offers are determined by various factors such as experience, education, skills, certifications and other business needs.
