Job Description
Description We are seeking a Desktop Support Analyst to join our team in Schaumburg, Illinois. The primary role of this position is to provide level 2 technical support, troubleshooting software, hardware and mobile device problems. This role offers a contract to hire employment opportunity in the telecom industry.
Responsibilities:
- Deliver onsite level 2 technical support to clients
- Troubleshoot and resolve software, hardware, and mobile device issues
- Document client issues in a ticket management system for future reference and analysis
- Interact with clients and co-workers to diagnose and resolve technical problems
- Support features, functionality, and usage of specific business applications
- Keep up to date with and adhere to established policies, procedures, documentation and technologies
- Build positive relationships with clients and promote our products and services
- Document conversations with vendors, current and potential clients in writing
- Provide onsite IMAC (Installs, Moves, Adds, Changes) desktop support by following documented procedures for desktop imaging
- Utilize skills in Citrix Technologies, Dell Technologies, EO/IR systems, Mac Computers, Microsoft, Active Directory, Computer Hardware, Configuration Management, Deployments, Deskside Support, Cisco VPN, Customer Service, and Microsoft Office Suites Requirements – Minimum of 2 years of experience in a Desktop Support Analyst role or similar.
- Proficiency in Citrix Technologies and Dell Technologies.
- Experience with EO/IR systems.
- Familiarity with Mac Computers and Microsoft systems.
- Knowledge of Active Directory.
- Skills in Computer Hardware and Configuration Management.
- Experience with Deployments and Deskside Support.
- Knowledge of Cisco VPN.
- Excellent Customer Service skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suites.
- Ability to troubleshoot and resolve technical issues.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and in a team.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
