Job Summary:

OEM Solutions Group provides integrated solutions for OEM applications leveraging Cat® components and machines. OEM strives to solve customer problems while generating profitable and sustainable growth for Caterpillar and OEMs. OEM Solutions utilizes the CAT dealer channel as well as a direct path to market for OEM Customers. This role will be focused specifically on Product Change Control and will work with cross functional teams to ensure timely changes are implemented. Coordinates engineering releasing activities between engineering design areas and procurement/scheduling with effective and timely implementation. Attention to detail and strong communication to avoid waste will be critical to the success of this role.

What You Will Do:

- Creating, maintaining, and communicating accurate change management data at both the local and corporate level through data entry in multiple management information systems.

- Analyzing engineering releases, changes, drawing notices to create change management requirements, providing the creation of product structure based on engineering design.

- Maintaining close team relationships with releasing analysts, as well as teams in manufacturing operations, process planning, category purchasing, commercial, engineering design, and material planning.

- Strong data analytics skills and SAP/MACH 1 experience are desired

Education Requirement:

A Bachelors degree or equivalent (3+ years supply chain, logistics, or manufacturing engineering experience)

ERP (Enterprise Resource Planning):

- Resolves all technical and administrative problems that occur throughout the ERP design and implementation process.

- Advises the ERP design team on ERP systems requirements.

- Monitors all ERP users to comply with established operational guidelines and standards.

Manufacturing Application Systems:

- Uses and maintains information or data stored in specific application; reports unusual situations.

- Documents the major interfaces and dependencies to and from other systems.

- Follows procedures for the maintenance and upkeep of the databases.

- Uses all basic features of the information system in context of own work.

- Works with a specific type of manufacturing application or information system.

Manufacturing Requirements Planning (MRP):

- Describes basic concepts of materials and capacity management processes and procedures.

- Describes product life cycle and associated MRP cycle.

- Identifies parameters and considerations used in making decisions about production runs.

- Describes the use of bills of materials and other documentation needed to provide supplies.

Additional Information

The location for this position is Mossville, IL.

Relocation assistance is not available for this position. Any relocation costs incurred would be the responsibility of the selected candidate.

This position will require less than 10% travel.
