Job Title: Manufacturing Process Engineer IJob Description

This exciting role involves creating manufacturing process plans for new parts using SolidWorks (modeling and drafting), and updating manufacturing routers in Visual Manufacturing (ERP). You will be responsible for reviewing and interpreting customer purchase orders, drawings, and specifications, incorporating them into the manufacturing process plan. In addition, you will be required to incorporate engineering changes into existing process plans and detail new tooling designs for manufacturing. There are opportunities for mentoring and troubleshooting, as well as process optimization. You will be joining a team of 10-12 other engineers and report directly to the Director of Engineering.

Our gear manufacturing facility, based in Downers Grove, IL, is equipped with the latest state-of-the-art technology for design, manufacturing, heat treatment, and inspection. We specialize in the manufacturing of Aircraft Quality Hardened and Ground Gears and are experts in bevel gear manufacturing, including Flight Safety Critical Parts. We cater to Defense and Commercial Customers across various industries like fixed wing, Helicopter, U.A.V., Satellite, and Specialty Vehicle.
