Job Description
Description We are offering a short term contract employment opportunity for an Accounts Payable Clerk in MOKENA, Illinois. Working in a dynamic and fast-paced environment, the role involves managing and processing invoices, ensuring they are accurately entered and maintained. This position will be onsite, with the possibility of working from home one day a week after training is completed.
Responsibilities:
- Handle the processing of all invoices for the company
- Ensure accurate data entry of all invoice details
- Utilize Microsoft Excel and Workday for invoice processing and data management
- Conduct regular check runs
- Manage all accounts payable duties, ensuring they are getting entered and tracked properly
- Maintain an organized and streamlined accounting system
- Respond to relevant inquiries or issues from customers or colleagues
- Coding of invoices for appropriate categorization
- Collaborate with team members to improve and streamline the accounts payable process. Requirements – Must have proficiency in Accounts Payable (AP)
- Demonstrable experience in Check Runs required
- Must possess skills in Coding Invoices
- Proficiency in Data Entry is mandatory
- Requires experience in Invoice Processing
- Must have solid skills in Microsoft Excel
- Workday proficiency is necessary
- Must have excellent attention to detail
- Strong organizational and time management skills required
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills needed
- Must have the ability to work independently as well as part of a team
- Requires the ability to handle confidential information with discretion.
