The Technology Operations Engineer will work to ensure the availability and reliability of Echo's infrastructure and provide timely and effective support and solutions. This role will be responsible for proactive monitoring, taking action to quickly identify, triage and resolve issues. The IT Operations Engineer will be responsible for timely escalations, ensuring maximum uptime and reliability of Echo's systems. This role will monitor all aspects of Echo's infrastructure and applications.
Position Overview:

The Technology Operations Engineer will work to ensure the availability and reliability of Echo's infrastructure and provide timely and effective support and solutions. This role will be responsible for proactive monitoring, taking action to quickly identify, triage and resolve issues. The IT Operations Engineer will be responsible for timely escalations, ensuring maximum uptime and reliability of Echo's systems. This role will monitor all aspects of Echo's infrastructure and applications.

Job Duties & Responsibilities:
Proactively monitor Echo's infrastructure using monitoring tools to ensure optimal performance and reliability.
Respond to alerts and notifications, identifying and resolving issues in a timely manner.
Troubleshoot issues with a focus on restoring service in a timely manner to reduce impact and ensure system availability.
Drive remediation efforts.
Implement solutions using automation.
Focus on preventative maintenance.
Create, maintain, and update documentation and SOPs.
Manage tickets through resolution.
Engage in the incident management process.
Collaborate with support teams daily.

Required Skills:
3 - 5 years of experience working in a NOC or IT Operations Center.
2 - 3 years of experience with Network Monitoring Systems & Tools such as Datadog, Dynatrace, Nagios, SolarWinds, and Splunk.
Familiarity with security protocols and best practices.
Familiar with ITIL framework.
Familiar with a ticketing system such as ServiceNow.
Network automation skills.
Strong problem-solving skills.
Exceptional customer service skills.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Self-managed, motivated, and collaborative.
Ability to multi-task in a fast paced, fluid work environment.
Strong time management skills in a challenging environment.
Effective communication skills and a keen sense of ownership.
Ability to follow tasks through to their completion with a high degree of accuracy and quality.
Strong knowledge of operating systems and virtualization technologies.
Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud).
Proficiency in troubleshooting server hardware, storage systems and network infrastructure.
Strong understanding of networking concepts and protocols (TCP/IP, DNS, VLANs, routing, switching, etc).
Strong knowledge of IT infrastructure including servers, networks, and hardware
Knowledge of Windows Server/Linux/AWS/Kubernetes Environment
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related years of experience.

This job operates in an office environment and uses a computer, telephone and other office equipment as needed to perform duties. The noise level in the work environment is typical of that of an office with an open seating floor plan. The employee may encounter frequent interruptions throughout the work day.
