HOW YOU WILL SOAR:

The Software Engineering Manager will leverage strong knowledge and experience in Web Services and API platforms such as Microsoft WebAPI, WCF services, Mulesoft and BizTalk. This hands-on role will partner with the Directory of Technology on technical design and implementations with the goal of delivering highly functional API led integration solutions. The incumbent will be primarily responsible for evaluating technical and functional requirements and for developing a sound architectural blueprint in line with business goals. As an experienced practitioner this role will work closely with the Directory of Technology to lead and manage to our standards and best practices for API design, development, and management.

  • Serve as the first resource for API and services solution architecture for the team. This will include configuration, development, and customization across environments
  • Serve as technical lead on projects to design, develop, test, document, and deploy robust integration solutions
  • In partnership with Technology leaders, be accountable for architectural design and review of API solutions and implementations
  • Build a deep understanding of business processes and principles to ensure a proper API and solutions architecture is envisaged and implemented
  • Partner with Infrastructure, Operations and Client Services to diagnose issues with API/WS layer and service issues as needed
  • Serve as a developer when needed and perform configuration and code changes
  • Mentor others in integration development technologies, tools and processes
  • Provide level three technical support and guidance for the Integration platforms and services
  • Work with external clients to successfully integrate Inspira APIs into external technology stacks and application
  • Other duties as assigned
