Purpose of role:The Business Development Manager for key accounts and audiophile, is responsible for driving process improvements and meeting sales objectives for Sennheiser products, with a dedicated focus on the Audiophile/High End product segment. This role will expand the Sennheiser portfolio in key channels such as wireless, military, travel, and regional dealers. The individual will develop and implement a winning Audiophile strategy for the North American market, focusing on extending numeric and weighted distribution both online and offline. Additionally, the position involves creating and building a network of key industry influencers and organizations to enable business growth and revenue generation.

Main Tasks and Responsibilities:
Drive process improvement in the sale and account management of Sennheiser products.
Meet and exceed individual sales objectives and assigned KPIs.
Expand Sennheiser's presence through new business development in key channels (military, wireless, dept store, regional audio specialty, etc.) to grow brand share and distribution.
Devise and implement a winning Audiophile strategy for the North American market to cultivate new business, grow revenue, share, profit and brand awareness.
Collaborate closely with marketing on Audiophile road show events, consumer-facing activities, and instore brand experiences
Develop and execute annual sales plans, promotions, product assortments, and merchandising strategies.
Understand the competitive landscape and develop a pipeline of potential new business relationships.
Establish best practices for new customer setup, account management, and commercial relationship termination.
Participate in the S&OP/SIOP process for improved forecast accuracy and revenue projection.
Conduct market analytics to evaluate target audiences, sales channels, market share, and product preference.
Review sales progress and interface with dealers to address shortcomings and explore new opportunities.
Travel within the assigned territory to call on regular and prospective customers.
Ensure strategic assortment placement at accounts to optimize performance and share growth.
Represent the brand at audiophile events and within audiophile communities
Travel up to 30%

Direct National, Regional and Independent Reseller and Distribution Accounts - Merchandising and Marketing management personnel.
Influential regional trade organizations and enthusiast platforms with focus on Audiophile
Education and Skillset:
University or Technical College Degree in business or related field
8 years in business development and/or CE/CPG retail sales management; premium audio experience preferred
Minimum 2 years of budget responsibility and P&L oversight
Solid understanding of retail pricing policies and customer/market dynamics, with experience in ecomm sales
Ability to work independently and manage a territory to achieve goals
Polished presentation and negotiation skills
Strong communication skills with the ability to work with all levels of management
