Merchants are paid upfront for transactions, are protected from credit and fraud risk, and are able to upgrade to a digital first, tech-enabled customer experience for their buyers. Capital One Trade Credit partners with hundreds of merchants across verticals throughout the United States. Merchants can offer their business customers an extended terms account that is instantly-decisioned and available for near-immediate use and one that can be underwritten on the business entity (vs. personal credit). These accounts feature payment terms up to 90 days, credit lines up to and beyond $1M where needed, billing and payment reconciliation tailored to business expectations, and online digital self servicing. Capital One Trade Credit is looking to aggressively grow its business by adding new enterprise clients and distribution partners.

About the Role:

The purpose of the Event and Marketing Associate is to drive lead generation, customer engagement, and brand awareness through carefully planned and expertly executed on-site and virtual events. Some travel will be required for the role.

The Event Marketing Principal Associate will be directly responsible for assisting with the strategic planning and development, as well as the tactical and operational execution of all on-site events, webinars, and supporting marketing and logistical activities. This includes managing a comprehensive event calendar, coordinating event logistics, including contracting with third party event producers, crafting promotional campaigns, and analyzing performance metrics to ensure continuous improvement. The role involves collaborating with cross-functional teams to align event and webinar strategies with overall marketing goals, ensuring each initiative is executed seamlessly and delivers maximum value. This position will report directly to the Sr Manager, Demand Generation and Content Marketing.

How our hybrid model works
This role ishybridmeaning associates typically spend about half their time (2-3 days per week)in-person at one of our offices listed on this job posting.MondayandFridaysare enterprise- widevirtual work days.Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursdayare in-person days for associates to spend time together working in our beautifully-designed team areas.

Responsibilities:

Event Planning and Execution:

Plan, organize, and manage a calendar of events including industry conferences, trade shows, and virtual events (i.e. webinars)

Coordinate all event logistics such as venue selection, vendor management, exhibit services, sponsorship and speaking engagement details, booth resource scheduling and on-site support.

Develop detailed project plans, timelines, and budgets for each event.

Stay up-to-date on industry trends, best practices, and new technologies to ensure innovative event experiences.

Research trade shows and industry expos; coordinate registration for Capital One attendees.

Webinar Management:

Develop and execute a comprehensive webinar strategy to support content, demand generation, and thought leadership.

Coordinate with internal stakeholders to identify key topics, speakers, and content.

Manage all aspects of webinar production, including scheduling, promotion, registration, and post-event follow-up.

Marketing and Promotion:

Create and implement marketing campaigns to promote events and webinars across multiple channels (email, social media, website, etc.).

Collaborate cross-functionally to produce high-quality promotional materials, including invitations, landing pages, invitation emails, and follow-up emails.
