The Relationship Manager Officer is responsible for the client experience by providing high touch support to Financial Markets and Funds clients, serving as a liaison between internal contacts such as Treasury Management, Deposit Operations, International Services, and Loan Operations. Financial Markets and Funds Group is a niche unit focused on providing commercial banking services to third party fund administrators, alternative asset managers, private investment funds, traditional asset managers, broker dealers, futures commission merchants, and proprietary trading firms.

 

What Youll Do

  • Handle daily external and internal requests and inquiries via phone and email regarding a variety of matters including wire transfers, information reporting, SWIFT messaging, foreign exchange, and OFAC / BSA

  • Troubleshoot and investigate complex or non-standard client issues

  • Support Relationship Managers by answering calls, preparing documentation packages, ensuring all vendor invoices are paid in a timely manner and gathering information to resolve issues or complete projects

 

Qualifications

  • Bachelors degree or equivalent experience

  • Minimum 5 years' financial services experience, preferably in client service or relationship management

  • High level of interpersonal skills, demonstrating poise, tact, and diplomacy at all times

  • High degree of discretion when handling sensitive and confidential information

  • Strong analytical, organizational, and time management skills

  • Keen attention to detail along with the ability to respond quickly to changing priorities

  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office including Word, Excel, and Outlook; prior experience with FIS a plus

  • Knowledge of banking concepts, practices, and procedures especially as it relates to commercial banking is preferred

  • Must be flexible and willing to accommodate the client and team needs
