Major Duties:

  • Manages multiple client queries and issues, ensuring their timely resolution
  • Reconciles cash and security collateral holdings
  • Assists in the continuing technological advancement of the collateral management function
  • Provides support and builds relationships with business partners and brokers/counterparties
  • Assists partners in maintaining the general ledger accounting and financial reporting for collateral
  • Carries out relatively complex activities with significant financial, client, and/or internal business impact
  • More technically sound in area of expertise and has broader knowledge of other areas
  • Delivers a work product that requires less revision
  • Able to facilitate discussions and reach decisions
  • Able to serve as a key subject matter expert and mentor to other more junior level employees
  • Investigates and resolves margin call disputes



Knowledge:

  • Excellent oral and written communication skills are required
  • Functional / Industry Knowledge is required
  • Analytical and problem-solving skills are required
  • Knowledge of capital markets and/or investment banking business is required
  • Competencies in one or more of the following is preferred: Bloomberg, Reuters, GMI, Eagle Star, Summit, Markit, OCC



Experience:

  • Experience in Accounting and/or Finance and a College or University degree in Business along with some relevant work experience is required.
