As a Lab Technician, you'll work on projects utilizing standard testing methods. Collaborating closely with engineers and management, you'll tackle standard project assignments. You'll serve as a technical resource for resolving common issues, guiding and supporting associate lab technicians.
- Design fixtures to be used in accepted testing.
- Mentor associate lab technicians ensuring adherence to industry standards.
- Utilize automation for efficient data collection and report generation.
- Enhance test platforms and integrate measurement tools into existing platforms.
- Coordinate test specifications and methods.
- Prepare systems for testing by overseeing modifications and setups.
- Independently conduct tests, analyze data, and document results for major projects.
- Participate in test data reviews.
- Required Degree: High School or GED equivalent.
- Preferred Degree: Mechanical Engineering Technology Associate Degree.
- Years of Experience: 3-5 years.
